Ailsa Anastatia, (1978, Curaçao)
Ailsa Anastatia was born in Curacao in 1978. She is an abstract/figurative painter. She works with one specific theme: space. Space in the broadest sense of the word. Universal, spiritual, architectural, exterior, interior spaces and landscapes.
She wants her paintings to be more than just a beautiful creation and give the viewer a personal feeling. The viewer should be stimulated to ask questions about her work. Space confirms existence: the ‘I am’.
